Maxwell – Noteworthy [Documentary]

NPR music new documentary features Maxell and how his career was shaped. Maxell first album was in 1996. Maxwell was known for his strong emotional and spiritual songs part of the 1990's Neo Soul. The documentary explains how Maxwell and his co writer meet and began to make hit songs. Before the songs the stage and the fame Maxwell goes deep into the struggle of a unknown artist. It has been 7 years since his last album and the album is a sequel to that album and the second in a proposed trilogy. Black Summers was released on July 1 2016 which was Maxwell 5th album. He produced most of the record with longtime collaborator and multi-instrumentalist Hod David and two songs were also co-produced by Stuart Matthewman.
