Lil Wayne Apologizes for Black Lives Matter Comments
Lil Wayne had social media going crazy today after saying the Black Lives Matter movement has nothing" to do with him. Lil Wayne said
"I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothing to do with me," the rapper told Nightline in a recent interview. He added he was young, black and rich. "My life matter, especially to my bitchs" he said, winking at the camera.
Lil Wayne ended the interview after saying he didn't connect with Black Lives Matter, because the Linsey Davis questions. He states that he was became mad when she ask him how do he feel about someone calling his daughter a bitch or hoe. After his statement about BLM he said he's not a politician and walked off the set.
Weezy has since took to social media to say that he was mad and that he spoke without thinking.
According to TMZ, apologizing for causing offense. "When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a ho, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses," he said.
