Cam O'bi Featuring Smino "Tender Headed"

Cam O’bi is a music producer, who moved to Chicago, to chase his dream in 2012. Since moving to Chicago he has produced tracks for Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, and SZA.

During O'bi journey he collaborated with Vic Mensa for their song "Hollywood LA."together. He produced Chance the Rapper's intro to his "Acid Rap" mixtape.

O'bi got a feature from Kendrick Lamar, after working Chicago artist SZA, on their song "Doves In The Wind," on SZA's "Ctrl" LP.

The producer is now ready to emerge from behind the scenes with his first album "Grown Ass Kid." O'bi gives us the first single off his upcoming album titled "Tender Headed," with his own production.

Cam O'bi takes a look back at his beginning days as a producer, sharing his sacrifice to achieve his goals.

"I was living at the studio, sleeping under the console sometimes," O'bi tells NPR. "There would be a lot of people coming through the studio and I would sell beats for people here and there. It would be all cash, like a barbershop."
