Chicago artist Smooth Kid Dino opens up 2019 with a personal account of details about the hardest time of his life.

On September 25th, Smooth Kid Dino was face to face with death, a gunman fired shots that left the south side rapper hospitalize.

Smooth Kid Dino hooked up with video director HigherSelfilms, to give bone chilling details of being a victim to gun violence in his new video "Sanctuary G Mix ."

Dino says he is still recovering from 4 surgeries, over came all odds waking up out a coma to a caring family by his side.
